It’s been a week since my last post about podcast equipment. I went into detail about the “mixer method”, and why this approach to podcasting may or may not suit your needs.
Today I’d like to talk about the “minimalist method”.
I’ve been invited to be a panelist at Blog World New Media Expo in June to talk about podcasting. And in the last few weeks my other panelists and I have been catching up over Skype deciding what to talk about.
Yesterday we spoke about podcasting equipment. Specifically the two main approaches one could take when starting a podcast.
One of the common questions I get asked is “what’s the best microphone to use?”
Of course the answer varies greatly depending on individual requirements.
But one question I am NEVER asked is “what’s the best type of headphones I can use?”
I am serious, NO-ONE ever asks me this….
